Ingredients

16 oz - BROTH, CHICKEN, NONFAT
1 tsp - Butter Buds Sprinkles, fat free
.33 grams - CANOLA OIL SPRAY
1/4 tsp - HOT PEPPER SAUCE
1 cup - ONION, RAW, chopped
1 oz - PINE NUT, DRIED
1 tbsp - SOY SAUCE, SHOYU, LOW SALT
2/3 cup - WHITE RICE
2 fl oz - WINE, SHERRY
1/4 cup - GREEN ONION, fresh, chopped

Directions

1) Coat a medium saucepan with the canola oil spray.
2) Heat over medium heat, then saute the finely chopped onions.
3) Add the broth, sherry, soy sauce, hot pepper sauce and liquid Butter Buds.
4) Stir in the converted rice, cover the pan, reduce the heat, and simmer until the rice is tender and the liquid has been absorbed (about 25 minutes).
5) Remove from heat. Stir in the green onions and onions. Serve.

Note: To make Liquid Butter Buds, mix one packet (1/2 oz. - 8 level tsps) with 1/2 cup of water (4 fl. oz.) Mix vigorously. Store in refrigerator in a tightly covered container.
